SSSBR is standard Disney fare - lots of perky young stars, a problem to solve and a happy ending - so anyone trying to make anything more out of it is deluding themselves. It's cute, not overly serious and definitely not action packed like other "superhero" movies. But that's not the point- it's a fun diversion from all of the stupidity that is 2020. Enjoy it with your children, or simply appreciate something fun and light. It won't hurt you. It was a nice little movie that didn't have me thinking about anything else going on. That's a win.

So yeah, it's a silly concept, but the acting from the five teenagers in the lead and supporting roles is spot on. Decently paced, and not at all terrible. The storyline is engaging and even fun. Sometimes I think that adults that review these movies forget that they're for children and young adults, and could bear that in mind when reviewing.

I was so excited to watch this movie! It was really good! The dynamics between the characters was really interesting and the actors seemed really compatible with each other. The different ways the story keeps you entertained is pretty cool. I feel like this is going to be a series and if it is I can't wait to see what happens next.

It's an amazing movie, if you can turn your brain off for a couple of hours and forget logic.
